After long years of training and wandering, Edgar Spiegel, the ambitious head chef of the house, has returned from the far corners of the world to Bad Tatzmannsdorf and creates his culinary Pannonia from the finest products of the region and fresh herbs from the in-house garden.

Praline Manufacture
Belgium is known for the high quality of its chocolates. The praline manufacture Spiegel conjures up the finest South Burgenland pralines from high-quality Belgian chocolates, with a lot of feeling and creativity - in countless delicious and tempting variations. These exquisite pralines are lovingly handmade according to our own recipes into sweet delicacies.
Only selected regional products are used for the production of the praline fillings!
If you are not yet familiar with these handmade sweet dreams, you can pamper yourself in the "Praline Atelier." In praline courses, you can observe their production and even participate.
In the online shop, you can easily and conveniently order the pralines from home!
Current Tours from July 15, 2025
Praline Tours - Daily from Monday to Friday, every hour on the hour from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
We won't reveal all the secrets, but we are happy to let you watch us while we make the pralines. During a tour of our praline manufacture, you will learn interesting facts about the creation of chocolate. We show a film about the origin of the cocoa bean and then demonstrate its processing right before the eyes of our guests.
We also pamper you with sweet samples from our selection.

The world of enjoyment in the Spiegel shop is vast. Besides sweet delicacies, you will also find exquisite drinks and selected products from the region. Thus, nothing stands in the way of your paradisiacal overall enjoyment experience.
Hotel
The historic hotel offers tastefully furnished comfort rooms. Sun rooms with their own panoramic veranda, as well as apartments and family rooms with extended living areas and private kitchens.
