The Schloss Rotenturm is located in Southern Burgenland in Rotenturm an der Pinka, nestled within an 11-hectare English landscape park and is one of the most significant historic country castles. Built as the estate of the Erdödy counts in the 1860s, it had various owners after 1924. The Viennese real estate insurance expert Prof. Heinz Schinner acquired the fairy-tale castle, which had been left to decay, in 2008 and revitalized it in close collaboration with the Federal Monuments Office.
Carefully and meticulously renovated, an ideal and exclusive infrastructure suitable for any events has been created for the 21st century. The seven festive rooms of varying sizes – accommodating up to 130 people – invite you to celebrate, hold meetings, and spend time. Whether for a wedding, anniversary, private celebration, seminar, workshop, corporate event, or as a film location – the castle is exclusively available to you in any case. The Rotenturm Castle Theater, adjacent to the castle park and structurally separate, includes around 160 seats as well as a foyer with a bar area and has managed to retain the style and charming appearance of the 1960s. Comedic plays particularly find their stage here, and it can also be rented by the day.
