The ski club Wiesen was founded in 1976 and now has more than 1000 members. Its pride and joy is the "Schiwiesen" with the 300-meter long drag lift and a snowmaking system.
Numerous events such as ski races, toboggan races, and the Schiwiesen festival are held there, attracting many guests from near and far. Under the loving care and with very good ski instructors from the ski club, numerous children have learned to ski on this slope. The little ones are well taken care of by their ski instructors, allowing parents to relax and enjoy the après-ski in the ski hut, where food and drink are always provided.
