Since the founding of the Szigeti winery in 1991, Peter Szigeti has made it his primary mission to capture the typical characteristics of the grape varieties in his products.
For production, only selected, sun-ripened grapes are used, most of which come from the immediate vicinity, the Neusiedler See/Seewinkel region. The special microclimate and the many hours of sunshine in this region give the wine its unique flavor. Peter Szigeti spends a lot of time with his cellar master in the vineyards of his partners and suppliers to ensure that the grapes meet high quality standards and that the typical character of the grape varieties can also be fully expressed in the sparkling wine.
Szigeti sparkling wine is made exclusively using the "Méthode Traditionnelle," the classic bottle fermentation – this ensures that the first-class base wines mature into extraordinary sparkling wine specialties in the cellar and that Szigeti sparkling wine can develop its fine, incomparable mousseux.

Tours (group size: 6 to 60 people) are available by reservation from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and on Saturdays (April to October) from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The "Piccolo Package" includes a cellar tour with 3 tastings for € 14,- per person, while the Magnum Package includes 6 tastings for € 18,- per person. Upon request, you can also order canapés (minimum order of 30 pieces). Please reserve by phone, preferably a few days in advance.
