Swimming lake Forchtenstein

The bathing lake Forchtenstein is located at the foot of the Rosalia Mountains in the Rosalia-Kogelberg Nature Park and offers a popular destination for bathers and those seeking relaxation with its excellent water quality, shady sunbathing areas, and natural surroundings. The lake is fed by the Haidbach, is approximately 170 meters long, 150 meters wide, and reaches over six meters at its deepest point. The water surface area is about 15,000 square meters, and the bathing beach is partly sandy and partly grass-covered.

For children, there is a playground as well as a 50-meter long waterslide. The facility has sanitary facilities, changing rooms, and a canteen directly by the water.
