The winery of Günter and Regina Triebaumer is located in the city of Rust. The family has been living in Rust since 1691.The vineyards with 25 hectares of vineyards are planted with 60% red wine varieties. Blaufränkisch plays the most important role. Merlot, Zweigelt, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon/Franc are also produced. On the white wine side you will find Sauvignon blanc, Gelber Muskateller, Traminer and Furmint. Traditionally, the noble sweet Rust Ausbruch - Austria's only historical designation of origin - is also made from this wine.
