Since 2003, Friedl Markus and his employees have been operating the company Vinothek & Weinfachhandel Friedl in Drassmarkt.
In autumn 2018, one of the largest wine shops in Burgenland was opened here in Oberpullendorf (in the center of the district).
Here, guests can find a wide selection of Austrian wines, sold at winegrower direct prices.
The range includes 400 winemakers from Burgenland, Lower Austria, and Styria, from renowned wineries to newcomers and insider tips.
In the Vinothek Friedl , every wine lover receives expert advice, which is appreciated by the clientele, including both critical gastronomes and private wine enthusiasts.
The goal is to provide excellent wines at fair prices to connoisseurs and collectors.
Daily various tastings are offered in the cozy premises.
Additionally, the wine shop offers various delicacies from the region, Uhudler products, fruit juices, schnapps and liqueurs, handcrafted willow baskets and wine coolers, wine storage stones, and accessories. They have been supplying the gastronomy, clubs, as well as corporate and private customers for a decade and a half.
