At the foot of the Geschriebenstein, the highest elevation in southern Burgenland, Thomas Straka cultivates his 4.5 hectares of vineyards. He receives valuable support from his wife Nicole and his mother Emilie, who take care of the guests at the Buschenschank. The grape varieties Welschriesling, Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc benefit from the optimal climatic conditions of the region.
