The family business is located in Rohrbach near Mattersburg. However, the grapes ripen in the best vineyards in Deutschkreutz in Mittelburgenland, one of the largest and most well-known wine-growing regions in Burgenland, amidst the Blaufränkischland.
Deep, clay-limestone soils and the Pannonian climate provide the best conditions for excellent red wines. On stony-limestone soils, fruity white wines thrive.
Approximately 65% red wine and 35% white wine are cultivated on the vineyard. Gentle care of the vines and strict quantity restrictions result in high-quality grape material.
Modern cellar technology and biological acid degradation produce fruity and dense red wines.
The traditionally aged red and white wines mature in stainless steel tanks, while the top wines age in small oak barrels.
