The Lassl winery, deeply rooted in the Rosalia DAC wine region and a member of Leithaberg DAC, is a family-run business with about eight to nine hectares of vineyard area in Sigleß and Klingenbach. For over 60 years, the Lassl family has shaped the regional wine tradition here – focusing on Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay, Gelber Muskateller, and unique rosé (“Rosalia DAC Rosé”, “Colore”).
Particularly outstanding are the multiple award-winning rosé wines: The Rosalia DAC Rosé 2022 Blaufränkisch “The Origin” was named the salt winner 2023 at Austria's toughest wine competition, the SALON, and also won the Feldkircher Wine Award. Previous vintages such as the Rosalia DAC Rosé 2020 and 2021 received top awards at the Wine Burgenland Award meinbezirk.at+3m.bvz.at+3bvz.at+3.
A complementary highlight is the enjoyment tavern “Weinwirtschaft”, run by the next generation (Stefan & Elisabeth Lassl) in a historic village inn near the winery. There, you can enjoy the house wines – fresh, full of character, and modernly interpreted – paired with regional cuisine and seasonal delicacies in a cozy courtyard ambiance.
