Uwe Schiefer fundamentally represents the philosophy of "less is more," both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Schiefer is constantly investing in the expansion of his vineyard area, which now totals 22ha. The ambitious winemaker is revitalizing ancient steep slopes where no irrigation is possible, experimenting with Blaufränkisch selections and various rootstocks as well as new training forms.

The site wines "Szapary" and "Reihburg" are produced without additives to highlight the terroir and the distinct character of the Blaufränkisch from Eisenberg. For more than 2 decades, Uwe Schiefer has also been working on the indigenous white wine grape Welschriesling, just as long as for the Blaufränkisch.

Excellent examples of Merlot and Pinot Noir complement the portfolio. Additionally, various Frizzante, distilled spirits, grape juice, as well as paprika powder and pumpkin seed oil are produced.
