The vineyards are located on the gentle slopes of the Leitha Mountains and their foothills. The special composition of the soils, together with the unique microclimate of our region, creates a unique terroir that cannot be found elsewhere in this form.
The wine selection of the Wagentristl winery is divided into site and estate wines, as well as premium and sparkling wines.
About two thirds of the vineyard area is reserved for red wine varieties. The vineyards are typically dominated by Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, and Welschriesling. The Pinot varieties—White Burgundy, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir—are particularly close to the heart of the Wagentristl family.
The goal is to produce wines that do not deny either their variety or origin. Wines with structure, depth, and character.
