Our winery is located in sunny Burgenland, on the northern shore of Lake Neusiedl, directly in the town of Neusiedl am See. The name "Haider" is known in northern Burgenland for its wine-growing tradition.
The operation covers an area of 12ha of vineyards and has been run as a family business for generations.
Forty percent of our vineyards are planted with white wine grapes. These include: Welschriesling, Grüner Veltliner, Weißburgunder, Chardonnay, Müller Thurgau, Muskat Ottonel, Sauvignon Blanc, Gelber Muskateller, Gelber Traminer, and Viognier. In the remaining area, red wine grapes of the varieties Blauer Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Blaufränkisch, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Malbec thrive.
