The Hans Igler winery in Deutschkreutz is one of the renowned family businesses in Mittelburgenland. Since its founding in the 1960s by Hans Igler, the winery has stood for uncompromising quality and a spirit of innovation. Today, it is carried on in the third generation by Clemens Reisner and his wife Anna, with great dedication and sensitivity.

With around 40 hectares of vineyards, the focus is clearly on red wines – foremost Blaufränkisch, complemented by Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Noir. White wines such as Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc also have their place in the range. The winery emphasizes environmentally-friendly viticulture: low yields per hectare, green manures, and selective hand harvesting form the foundation for characterful and long-lived wines. These are aged in the historical Schaflerhof – a revitalized estate with history that today also offers space for tastings and events.

The winery is particularly known for its "Vulcano" – a red wine cuvée with a label by the artist Anton Lehmden. Other highlights like the "Ab Ericio" or the "Ricciolino" underscore the stylistic diversity and high quality standard of the estate. The Hans Igler winery represents a successful blend of tradition and modernity – and for wines that authentically reflect the terroir of Mittelburgenland.
