In the idyllic Andau, in the midst of the wine-growing region of Lake Neusiedl, winemaker Jacqueline Klein produces her fine drops with the utmost dedication.
“The wines opulent and profound, authentic and indigenous yet with a hint of international flair in the background – that’s how I like them!” - Jacqueline Klein
On a total of 42 hectares of vineyard, the winemaker cultivates 85% red wine and 15% white wine. Clearly structured, harmonious, combined with fine fruit style, the white wines present themselves. However, her passion clearly lies with the red wines. The flagship variety of the estate is Zweigelt, followed by Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah. From these, the winemaker produces elegant, varietal wines, as well as noble cuvées.
Particular attention is given to a respectful approach to nature, which is why the estate has been certified “Sustainable Austria” since 2019. The harmony of vine and terroir, paired with the intuition of winemaker Jacqueline Klein, all this especially brings forth characteristic and independent wines.
On Sundays and public holidays, the winery is closed.
