The Stadler winery is located in Halbturn, in the far east of Austria and not far from the border with Hungary. Here in northern Burgenland on the eastern shore of Lake Neusiedl lies the Seewinkel region, which offers excellent conditions for viticulture.
With around 2000 hours of sunshine per year, our wine-growing region benefits from the Pannonian climate with its hot, dry summers and cold winters. Together with Lake Neusiedl as a temperature regulator, it provides a long growing season in the vineyard.
Our winery has been operated as a family business since 1985. Currently, we – Josef and Thomas Stadler – manage an area of 39 hectares and are among the larger enterprises in the country. The highly differentiated soil structure ranging from loess and black soil to gravel and sand, as well as shell limestone and slate, allows a diverse range of grape varieties to thrive in our vineyards.
Our utmost goal is to preserve the vintage and varietal character of the wines. In doing so, we combine decades of proven tradition with modern technology.

The Heuriger at the Stadler winery
is run by the Stadler family with much hospitality and warmth.
In the flower-adorned garden, in the shady arbor, and in the cozy Heurigen locale, guests enjoy the great Stadler wines. They pair excellently with the freshly prepared regional delicacies and Heurigen classics, from simple onion lard bread to hearty, richly topped winemaker platters.

Direct-from-the-farm wine sales are available year-round, even outside of Heurigen opening hours, by appointment.

We also gladly open for groups, birthday, and family celebrations. (Inquiries at +43 676 420 4321)
