The winery of the STEINDORFER family is located in the "Nationalparkgemeinde Apetlon", in the most eastern province of Austria, Burgenland.
The winery has been in existence for four generations - four times with different life experiences. Today it is Roland Steindorfer who successfully continues this long tradition. Roland embodies a powerful, dynamic & elegant lifestyle which is fully reflected in the wines. The traditional characteristics of the wines are consistently combined with new innovations in order to further develop the experience for the customer. Knowledge is passed on and new perspectives are shared. In this way something new is created without forgetting what has been tried and tested. Our grapes are hand-picked and, after gentle pressing, fermented in wooden barrels or stainless steel tanks at an optimum temperature, depending on the grape variety and degree of ripeness. All these efforts are based on the idea of producing noble wines with a typical varietal aroma and a long shelf life.
