Seefestspiele Mörbisch

Operettas and musicals in an amazing setting

The fantastic natural setting of Lake Neusiedl has provided the impressive backdrop for the largest open-air operetta stage in the world since 1957. Visitors are whisked away from the stress of everyday life to a magical realm of blissful melodies performed at the highest artistic level.

Meticulously planned productions, well-known actors, and gigantic stage machinery ensure loyal followers and a full house year after year.

Artistic director Peter Edelmann has been putting on the productions since 2017. As a trained singer, he has appeared in more than 80 roles, is a professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and is familiar with the stage in Mörbisch having featured in many of the productions put on by his predecessor Harald Serafin.

The Burgenland sun will do its best to drive away any rain clouds, so that crowds can once again enjoy the unique open-air festival to the fullest every evening.

Don’t miss it!
