The Reptile Zoo in Forchtenstein, directly opposite Forchtenstein Castle, offers experiences of a different kind. Reptiles from all over the world can be observed - from parrots to the green anaconda, to the inland taipan (most poisonous snake in the world) to the king cobra (largest poisonous snake in the world) as well as several crocodiles and lizards. There is also a hatchery and breeding station. Feedings can be observed on Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm.
Throughout the year the Reptile Zoo offers also numerous family events for children.
Free entry with the Burgenland Card.
