On the B32 Rosaliaradwanderweg between Sigleß and Krensdorf, located on a hill with a panoramic view to the west towards the Hohe Wand and the Schneeberg, and to the east towards the Ruster Hügelland and Lake Neusiedl, is the landscape project Heaven's Ladder by artist Heinz Bruckschwaiger. The Heaven's Ladder was designed and opened in 1992.
On two sides, 12 steps made of granite lead up the hill. At the top, in the center of the hill, lies a large, flattened granite slab with two depressions. These are meant to represent the two notches of the ladder rails. Inspired by the biblical story of Jacob, who sees a ladder leading to heaven in his dream, it is a conceptual heaven's ladder that Heinz Bruckschwaiger stages here.
Around the hill stand 12 cherry trees, whose crowns are almost touching, forming a white ring of blossoms in spring or a green ring of leaves in summer. The circular shape created by the cherry trees symbolizes infinity and eternity.
Throughout the year, the Heaven's Ladder invites guests to rest and linger: in spring with the white blossoms of the cherry trees, in June with the red cherries, during the summer with fragrant meadow flowers, and in autumn with colorful foliage.
A special highlight is a music festival held every 2 years directly at the Heaven's Ladder.

The Heaven's Ladder is accessible year-round and can be visited at any time!
