Our house dates back to 1777 and was built as an inn between Vienna and Budapest. It served as a watering place and exchange station for horses, as well as a rest and meal stop for coachmen. Later, it became the community tavern, which my great-grandparents Martin and Theresia Frank acquired from the community in 1928.
In 1956, my grandfather Wilhelm and his wife Magdalena took over the tavern operation from his parents.
In 1990, my father Wilhelm and his wife Lieselotte Frank took over the business.
In 2013, I, Martin Frank, took over the operation in the 4th generation.
We also cultivate a vineyard area of approximately 3.5 hectares and, of course, produce our own wines.
White varieties: Welschriesling, Grüner Veltliner, Weißburgunder, Müller-Thurgau
Red varieties: St. Laurent, Zweigelt, Blauburgunder
