Parents and children can learn about the regional stones in the Stone Museum in Landsee. The stone museum is an open-air museum on a green area in the center of Landsee and is freely accessible at any time. About 40 exhibits document the diversity of rock types in Burgenland and interesting facts can be read on information boards.

Families can thus learn about rocks during a walk and compare rock types with each other. If perhaps not all family members are interested in the rocks, it is great fun, especially for smaller children, to rush around and climb among the rocks.

Combination tip: For families who visit the stone museum, the Landsee Castle Ruin is an ideal combination excursion tip.
