The museum Jois gives a small insight into the past and the people' life in a small place of the "Kirschblütenregion" at Lake Neusiedl. Under the motto "Jois, from the stone-age to the wine-age" archaeological finds from early history to modern times are exhibited and the local history, church history, working life and social life are documented. The district school museum with an original school class from 1938, the wine museum and the exhibits from the over 100-year existence of the Jois voluntary fire brigade deserve special attention. The exhibition is under federal monument protection. All exhibits are described.
