Amid wheat fields and meadows stands the approximately 8m high observation tower on Kreuzberg in the Burgenland village of Aschau. Once at the top, you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view from about 600 meters above sea level.
From there, there is a direct sightline to the observation tower on Hutwisch in Hochneukirchen (Lower Austria), the so-called "Guglhupf" in Redlschlag, and the observation tower at Geschriebenstein in Rechnitz. In clear conditions, the view even extends to the Dolomites and Riegersburg.
