The production of fruit brandies from various types of fruits and berries is the great passion of Karin and Emmerich Kohlmann. For many years, the couple has been engaged in refining brandies and liqueurs. Both were the first in Burgenland to complete the brandy sommelier training.
Their goal in producing their exquisite distillates is to capture the full aroma of selected and fully ripe fruits, without the use of additives, in the distillate. Artificial flavors and sugar addition are absolutely taboo. Only the natural, fruit-typical aroma should be transferred to the final product.
The result of this meticulous work is impressive! Countless awards and accolades have been awarded to the Kohlmann distillery in recent years. At the Destillata 2023, the distillery was included in the circle of "Chosen Distilleries 2023."
Tastings & Facility Tours
Tastings for up to 18 people are possible in the spacious tasting room in Horitschon, by prior appointment, with or without snacks. Duration approx. 3-4 hours. Price upon request.
