The Hans Bauer – Wine & Prosciutto in Pöttelsdorf is a unique culinary establishment that specializes in the production of bone-aged Wulka Prosciutto and robust red wines. In his 150-year-old traditional farmstead, Hans Bauer combines traditional craftsmanship with modern refinement, treating each grape and each ham personally.
The wines, primarily Blaufränkisch, age for several years in small oak barrels and are characterized by depth and terroir.
The Wulka Prosciutto, aged for 24 to 36 months, comes from specially bred "Heidewuggerl" pigs, known for their finely marbled meat.
Every Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM, the farm shop invites for shopping, while the "Hofgenuss" offers tastings and specialties from the smoker, creating a culinary experience.
