The NatureArena Geschriebenstein in Rechnitz combines sports, leisure, and nature experiences at a special location directly by the bathing lake Rechnitz and at the entrance to the spusu BIKES Burgenland trails.
The diverse offerings include a climbing and bouldering wall, a training facility for archery and blowpipe shooting, as well as canoeing on the bathing lake. The program is complemented by events featuring creative and nature experience activities, as well as hiking trails to Geschriebenstein, the highest mountain in Burgenland.
A special highlight is the 22-meter-high wooden tower with an observation terrace, which provides an impressive view over the region. The entire facility is designed to be accessible and invites visitors of all ages to explore, experience, and linger.
The observation tower is accessible during opening hours. Outside of opening hours, visits for groups of five or more can be arranged with prior notification.
