The Hareter winery is located in the town of Gols in Burgenland and is a classic family business. Near Lake Neusiedl in Austria, we cultivate wine with passion on an area of 20 hectares.
The Pannonian climate offers the vines and grapes particularly special conditions: Winters are cold but relatively dry, and in summer, the region is blessed by the sun. These contrasts and the interplay of the climate make the wines from the Hareter winery so unique. Of course, there is also expertise and passion for wine.
Mario and Nicole Hareter, who currently run the Hareter winery, place nature at the center of their work. In the vineyard, they carry out all maintenance measures as gently as possible. Since 2015, they have refrained from using insecticides and herbicides. With the 2020 vintage, the wines from the Hareter winery have become vegan, meaning the winemakers do not use any animal-derived ingredients. Committed to the local wine tradition in Burgenland, the winery primarily produces those wine varieties that have made the Austrian wine region famous.
