Wine Museum in Schloss Esterházy

In the historic setting of the castle cellar, the wine museum offers a unique insight into the wine history of the Pannonian region. The museum brings together centuries-old equipment, stories, and documents for a fascinating tour through the world of wine.

As early as 1666, the barrel cellar could hold 5,000 buckets of wine, which is about 280,000 liters, and even into the 21st century, the historical vaulted cellars in the castle were used to store the grape juice of the Esterházy estates.
