In the heuriger "Eder am Spitz" in Leithaprodersdorf, the family has been passionately working for nearly 40 years to ensure that you can enjoy life to the fullest and receive only the best quality. With a lot of passion and commitment, they create precious drops that you can enjoy in the nostalgic ambiance of the barn and the lovingly designed large garden. Since the beginning of the 1980s, they have been upholding traditional heuriger culture, preparing delicious specialties of Burgenland’s heuriger cuisine, and making your private or business celebration an unforgettable experience. At Eder am Spitz, you get the Burgenland in all its fullness in the glass and on the plate. The establishment – whether in the wine cellar or the kitchen – prepares everything in-house. The result is authentic and harmonious.
The menu leaves nothing to be desired: numerous homemade cold dishes, lovingly prepared by head chef Michael and his well-coordinated team, are waiting for you. Special attention is given in the kitchen to the use of seasonal products. But it is not only these that are worth tasting, but also the delicacies of the next generation: the house specialties of game. Son-in-law Michael brought his hobby of hunting to the menu, adding a young, wild, yet refined aspect to the traditional establishment.
The heuriger “Eder am Spitz” was continued after its founding by Barbara & Josef Eder, and later taken over by the next generation, Magdalena and Michael Bauer. But it of course cannot be managed alone. Many diligent hands from the extended family help here – especially with serving in the heuriger and during the grape harvest – making our heuriger a place of security and a feeling of home.
