KARO Good by the Lake
The winery was founded in 2013 by Karina Schindler and Robert Schumitsch. She, a biologist and daughter of a wine-growing family from Mörbisch; He, an ambitious young winemaker – the perfect combination with a shared vision!
The organic working method is part of their production philosophy. This includes working with nature and maintaining healthy, vibrant soils to increase biodiversity in the vineyards.
In wine production, winemaker Robert places great importance on giving both the grapes in the vineyard and later the wines in the cellar the necessary time to mature. In this way, wines with character are created that can be enjoyed for a long time.
In keeping with the organic working philosophy, KARO Good by the Lake also produces trendy "Natural Wines" such as skin-fermented white wines alongside classic white and red wines. The particularly beautiful aspect of these wines is that they combine a modern trend with a traditional method of natural winemaking.
