The winery
As the daughter of a winemaking family, the landlady was born with a love for wine. Because of the small cultivation chefs, she can take care of the vineyards with a lot of love and strength. The pressing of the wines is carried out together with our nephew, a young dynamic winemaker who has already won many awards. This enables us to offer our guests wines of excellent quality that are typical of the region.

The influence of the Pannonian climate is unmistakable. Most of the sunny days in Austria are counted in the region. In addition, Lake Neusiedl creates an excellent microclimate for viticulture: it stores the heat of the sun during the day and releases this heat again at night. A gentle wind from the Hungarian lowlands provides a pleasant living space for grapevines and people.

The soils of the area offer an unbelievable variety: The soil structures extend from weathered primary rock soils, sandy soils with mica slate to total loam and humus soils and thus offer optimal growth conditions for each variety.
