A sunny e-bike paradise

More cycling fun, more comfort, more Burgenland

With 300 days of sunshine each year, an extensive network of cycle paths and plenty of bike routes – from easy to demanding – Burgenland has long been a paradise for cyclists. The e-bike infrastructure is also impressive: Numerous rental and charging stations are spread throughout the region.

Whether gliding through the gentle hills in Central or Southern Burgenland, or exploring the almost endless plains around Lake Neusiedl: With an e-bike, you can enjoy the impressive and diverse landscapes in an even more relaxing way.

If you like your comfort and still want to set a brisk pace, you can simply rent one of the modern e-bikes and enjoy the optimal mix of cycling fun and comfort. As soon as you start pedaling, you will be supported by powerful but discreet electric motors – ideal for longer distances or for cyclists who want to indulge along the way.

So that you don’t run out of “juice” on the go, you can recharge your batteries at one of the countless taverns, while your e-bike hangs out at one of the many charging stations. Insider tip: You can, of course, also enjoy a shortcut by taking your e-bike across Lake Neusiedl on one of the many bike ferries.

Due to the increasing popularity of e-bikes, it is best to check availability and dates in advance. You can obtain more information about this directly at the service stations.
