The journey to Burgenland
A great vacation starts with an easy journey. Would you like to travel by public transport? There are regular train connections from Vienna or Graz to Burgenland. Current timetables can be found on the website of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) or the Verkehrsverbund Ost-Region (VOR). Train stations such as Neusiedl am See, Eisenstadt, Deutschkreutz, Bad Sauerbrunn or Friedberg (Styria) are served regularly and are ideal for onward travel. Many businesses also offer pick-up services. This is a convenient way to get to the accommodation of your choice. It is also possible to travel by bus. The Südburgenland bus takes you comfortably from Graz to Südburgenland - and back again. Up-to-date timetables are provided free of charge by Verkehrsverbund Ost-Region and Verkehrsbetriebe Burgenland.
